September 25th: Reliving Freshman Year
In the spirit of a true Freshman year, no group picture was taken, only a bunch of selfies.

You may not know this viewers, but all of the college contessas are Sophomores. Since it has been a whole five months since we were Freshman, we decided to relive it and remember the good old days of piling into someone's dorm, eating delivered food, watching TV, and usually talking over the TV. Sunday was the perfect night for this supper club because Cayenne Contessa lives in the house of her sorority which resembles a dorm and the Emmys were on! So we just had to watch. We all came to her place and we ate some Choo Choo's, some of Athens's finest Japanese Korean Grill Express! I have no idea if it is authentic Japanese Korean Grill or if there is really such a thing, but I know that it is delicious! We ate to our heart's content and had the leftover desserts from our tailgate as a treat afterwards.
Caprese and Cafe Contessa thought it would be funny to hide in Cayenne Contessa's closet

This is Cayenne Contessa chilling while watching the Emmy's. We have decided she would make a stupendous host. Emmy Host Nominators, look her up!

Megan, Ariesha, and Confection Contessa debating over their choices for the Emmy winners.

Just another selfie.

But anyway, it was a very fun-filled night with laughter (when Cafe and Caprese Contessa jumped out of the closet) and tears (when we realized that Justified only won one Emmy) had by all.

September 16th: Party Like A Pop Star!

We went over to Ariesha and Megan's apartment (front middle) and decided to party it up like pop stars. Each of us brought a pop star's favorite food--or something that was punny with a Pop Star's name or song like Caviar Contessa's "Tupac's I was Kale-d dip." Then we jammed out to some 1D as well as other great pop stars of our generation. The food that was offered ranged from Robert Downey Jr.'s Meatballs, Alicia Keys's Fallin' Cookies, Ed Sheeran's Cinnamon Sugar Biscuits, and some really good apple dip. All in all it was a really fun night which was ended with a viewing of the first Cheetah Girls movie. I for one felt fierce after watching it.

All of the names of the food that we brought and the Pop Stars we represented.

One of our contessas truly had a Legally Blonde moment in that she did not realize this was not a costume party where we all dress up like our favorite pop stars so she came dressed as Ke$ha while all of us were in our normal UGA wear. But we love her anyways and the white trash (or puppy chow as some call it) she made to represent Ke$ha.

Thanks so much to our dear friend Megan who co-hosted this party and took most of these great pictures for us to put up!

September 9th: Benvenuto a Italia!

Caprese Contessa was dying to show us her cooking skills she learned in Italy. She was also on Italian food withdrawal. So, we gave in. Who doesn't love Pasta? The College Contessas joined together to prepare an elegant, Italian meal. This was no nike shorts and UGA T-Shirt kind of meal. Italian culture would never allow it, so neither would we. We were living the Italian lifestyle for a night, so we were going to make the most of it! Italian music was playing in the background. We had a lovely candlelit dinner. The spread was divine.

August 26th: Arabian Nights & Aladdin

This sunday evening, we traveled the globe to Hazen's Hideaway for an "Arabian Nights" themed dinner with hummus, cocktail shrimp, and tropical fruit salad. It was absolutely delicious. We discovered a new love for doing yoga poses--or vogueing in Caprese Contessa's case--and calling it Arabian. She gave us a tour of her house and let us see all of her artwork. Unfortunately, none of it was arabian themed.

August 19th: Contessas Need The Help

Our second Supper Club was "Civil Rights" theme; we dined on chicken and waffles, and watched The Help. Thanks to Brown Sugaaa Contessa this was all possible. She made us waffles out of her very cool waffle maker and bought fried chicken from Publix because none of us know how to make fried chicken and are too scared to try. Then we drizzled some syrup on top and dug in. It was a very integrated, emotional evening. People cried...... literally.

August 12th: Olympics Closing Ceremony Supper Club

It was a hot Athens Sunday evening when the college contessas were tuckered out from tanning at the pool and all came over for the closing ceremony of the Olympics in order to watch One Direction and The Spice Girls as well as enjoy some mexican quesadillas. This was the origin of the supper club. We were too intent upon watching the Closing Ceremonies to take any pictures so we decided to put up a picture of the real stars of the night to represent us.
